Position Summary:

As the Manager of Compensation Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of compensation data and effective functionality of processes in compliance with company policy, system capabilities and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Director of Compensation Operations, you will work in an analytic capacity to support and maintain compensation systems and programs while building relationships with internal partners such as HR Business Partners and other HR Center of Excellence professionals. In this role, you are a detail-oriented self-starter and make a significant impact on the compensation and rewards for colleagues across the CVS Health organization.

You will accomplish this through:

  • Supporting day-to-day enterprise compensation functions by way of data governance, including audits, root-cause analysis, and solutioning partnering with Compensation team and technical partners.

  • Providing support in developing, implementing, and maintaining compensation programs/projects with an emphasis on accuracy as you analyze data for related programs. Work with stakeholders to define and provide communication materials and support.

  • Providing support in designing and implementing education tools to aid HR Business Partners, management, and colleagues in compensation philosophy and practice. Partner with external vendors as applicable.

  • Supporting implementation and governance of new Workday enhancements and change requests including prioritizing requests and writing requirements for technical resources.

  • Maintaining the job catalog, including an understanding of downstream impacts of changes/additions, and developing efficient and effective workflows.

As a Manager of Compensation Operations, your success will be determined by your ability to take on problems and apply sophisticated thought to identify creative solutions. Your ability to communicate difficult concepts and influence others to embrace an enterprise point of view will also contribute to your success. You will have the ability to lead independently with guidance in only complex situations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of compensation experience OR 5+ years of experience in Human Resources

  • 5+ years of experience using compensation tools

  • 5+ years of experience with compensation administration applications and data manipulation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading large projects or new program implementations

  • Workday Core and Advanced Compensation

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree is a plus

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
