Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant in Three Rivers, Michigan, 49093, United States. This role involves reconciling accounts, balancing sheets, and handling bank reconciliations in a high-paced environment. The Sr. Accountant will also work with various software, including SAGE and Microsoft Excel, to maintain general ledger and complete journal entries.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliation diligently to ensure accurate financial records.

• Balance sheets regularly to verify that all transactions are accounted for and properly posted.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure that the company's bank account statements are in agreement with our financial records.

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of posted data.

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and post journal entries.

• Leverage Microsoft Excel to organize and present data effectively.

• Perform month-end close activities accurately and within the established time frame.

• Utilize Sage Accounting Software for various accounting tasks and report generation. Requirements

• Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary

• Must be well-versed in maintaining General Ledger

• Ability to make Journal Entries accurately and efficiently

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

• Experience with Sage Accounting Software is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Must have a solid understanding of accounting principles and standards

• Proven experience in a similar role in an accounting department is an advantage

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
