Hybrid Role based in Raleigh, NC

The Senior Accountant, Treasury is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of cash transactions, reconciliation of bank statements, and ensuring that all treasury-related accounting procedures comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Oversee daily cash transactions and ensure they are recorded accurately in the financial system.

• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures in relation to cash transactions.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure all cash receipts and disbursements are accounted for properly.

• Assist in the month-end closing process, including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Provide support during internal and external audits.

• Lead process improvement initiatives related to cash management and transactional accounting.

WHO YOU ARE

• You are highly motivated, results oriented, and able to perform independently in a fast-moving environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to be a team player are central to who you are.

• BS, BA, or MS Degree in Finance or Accounting is required

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on cash management and transactional accounting.

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment

• Should be curious; willing to ask questions and think creatively to solve problems.

The base compensation range for this position is $79,300 to $90,100 per year. Your base salary will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
