This position is a senior leader with the responsibility of driving execution, organizational focus, and prioritization of AI initiatives across Audacy. Ensuring AI delivery operational efficiencies, competitive differentiation, and organizational alignment are key objectives for this position.

The Vice President, AI Initiatives, is a crucial role in the successful development and implementation of these solutions at Audacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large, enterprise-wide program management, media workflows, and the business transformation in media / telecommunications companies.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Program Management

  • Drive/ensure timely and effective execution of the company's AI goals across the company, including:
  1. provide comprehensive oversight of the company's various AI-related endeavors to ensure company-wide strategic clarity, consistency, and coordination and maintain disciplined and focused execution of the company's AI priorities.

  2. establish and manage a centralized knowledge hub to guide and inform decision-making on AI-related projects.

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver AI projects on time, within budget, and meeting predefined objectives; ensure operational efficiencies are achieved

  • Identify and prioritize AI opportunities, and develop strategies for leveraging AI to drive business value.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Develop product roadmaps and strategies with business stakeholders, considering user feedback, competitive analysis, and business goals.

Vendor Coordination

  • Identify and investigate AI solutions based on business needs; negotiate contracts for enterprise value and use.

  • Manage vendor evaluation process with business and technical stakeholders to ensure secure and robust solutions.

  • Develop with finance and business stakeholders cost-effective POCs/pilots.

  • Coordinate vendor-based training opportunities and access for Audacy.

Strategy & Planning

  • Actively participates in the development, implementation and tracking of the business line growth strategy and tactical plans, working cohesively with the CTO and Audacy senior executives

  • Leads strategy execution in partnership with the executive team across the organization. Sets best practices for long-term company strategy within existing businesses, and advocates and presents business cases to senior leadership

  • Partner with senior management across different teams to help develop a unified strategy, operational and financial planning to create efficiencies through AI

AI Advocacy

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about AI principles, applications, and best practices.

  • Provide thought leadership on AI trends and technologies, and evangelize AI within the organization.

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain complex AI concepts and their business implications.

  • Promote the adoption of standardized AI practices and technologies across the organization.

  • Participate in industry events and meetings, to gather insights externally and share internally.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in program management or product development within a media company, managing with technical programs and financial modeling preferred.

  • Strong understanding of business transformation, AI-related business capabilities, methodologies, and program management strategics.

  • Experience working with all levels of an organization, including executives, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
