Abbott Business Manager in New Delhi, India

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-12 years sales or business development experience in the medical devices or medical equipment sector

  • Capital sales leadership experience is highly desired

  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the private or corporate Hospital Buying Groups and individual private hospital mechanisms and KPIs.

  • Understanding of handling C-Suite customers (CEO, CFO) in private or government sector hospitals for the allocated region.

  • To learn about Electrophysiology as a therapy and its application while attending cases inside the Cath lab.

  • The ability to work together and collaborate to achieve the key strategies of team and develop the sales acumen required to be successful in a competitive electrophysiology market

  • To develop the relation with Key KOL based upon clinical & technical knowledge and KOL engagement.

  • To demonstrate the behaviour of Team Player by extending the support wherever required (Including Case support)

  • Proven ability to absorb complex technical information and apply this knowledge in the field

  • Create and implement strategies for your accounts, designing strategic plans to develop profitable business relationships.

  • Maximise sales velocity through improved utilisation of sales resources and by understanding the needs and nuances of the Key Strategic Accounts & Buying Groups.

  • To manage the distributor network with key skills of Inventory Management and Distribution Management.

  • To understand market opportunities & risk and proactively take strategic actions, align resources to leverage opportunity and mitigate risks in timely manner ensuring that Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Objectives are met.

  • Accountable for own development. Seeks feedback and demonstrates ability to develop own skills

  • Ability to operate as a business development leader within a team

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to Influence and motivate others

  • Understands the balance between taking time to build rapport and achieving objectives set.

  • Ability to travel (50-70% of the time) within territory with some travel outside of territory as and when required.

Minimum requirement of this role is:

An individual having experience and skills in selling of high value capital equipment e.g Cath labs, MRI, CT scans, Heart & Lung machines, Robotics, ICU/CCU projects, etc.. Cardiology experience will also add value while evaluating the candidates. It will be an individual contributor role
