Citigroup Business Execution Partner – Officer in Mumbai, India

Description: This role is part of our Citi Commercial Banking Global Coverage Business Execution team. The individual will directly support the Citi Commercial Banking NEXT Asia, Europe & MEA Heads in the development and execution of the respective business strategies. The individual will provide management support, thought leadership and work on analytical projects to address strategic topics for the NEXT client segment that drive a focus on high-priority, high-impact issues:

  • Support the NEXT Heads on various analytical projects and reporting around productivity, revenues, client engagement etc.

  • Prepare material for senior audiences / business reviews

  • Support NEXT country heads with the preparation of their MIS, scorecards and country reviews

  • Oversee and control the client tagging for clients in CIS

  • Help with the identification and tracking of growth opportunities and client conversion for NEXT Asia, Europe & MEA

  • Take part in the designing and driving of tools and processes for improving productivity / internal efficiency for the NEXT RMs

  • Drive the roll out and application of harmonized processes for the optimization segment of NEXT (POG) and related tracking / analytics

  • Be a champion for the use of NEXT best practices and tools for the region (Salesforce / Tableau). Track usage and centralize requirements for enhancements.

  • Partner closely with other CCB NEXT and Coverage BEPs on the development and roll out of data analytics

  • Coordinate the implementation of high-priority initiatives and delivery of ad-hoc requests

  • Collaborate with local and global partners on the roll out strategies and initiatives that add value to the CCB franchise

  • Leverage CCB NEXT best practice to share with Cluster / Global Business Execution Partners and Sales Management for cluster and global roll out

Qualifications

  • MBA, Finance, Accounting or related Business Management tertiary qualifications

  • Strong track record of academic excellence

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, finance or working on strategic projects within financial services

Skills

  • Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills – strong ability to use big data and numerical information to make sound assessments and formulate constructive solutions/action plan.

  • Highly capable in data analysis and modelling within Excel (confident use of PivotTables, formulae, filters, etc.)

  • Strong proficiency in Power Point – ability to translate data into a business story for internal communication.

  • Clear and structured thinking and problem solving

  • Self-starter with strong organization skills and takes initiative once given direction/ framework to execute with minimal oversight

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, to provide clear, detailed creative direction

  • Independent worker but aligned to manager and business goals and knows when to check in to provide update to manage on progress.

  • Collaborative work style: ability to interact effectively with partners across organizational and functional boundaries and hierarchies

  • Able to lead, influence others in a positive and collaborate manner in order to achieve results, think creatively and use sound judgment when making business decisions.

  • Proactively promote collaboration, sharing of best practices and success transfer

  • Have strong awareness of the need to drive efficient execution of agreed actions
