Intuit Lead Financial Analyst in Mountain View, California

Overview

The Small Business & Self Employed Group (“SBSEG”) is Intuit’s largest business unit with $8B+ in revenue, serving 8M+ customers with the QuickBooks line of products including accounting, payments, payroll, capital lending and banking. Specifically, the SBSEG Ecosystem Services FP&A team leads forecasting, analysis and reporting for the Payments, Payroll, Capital Lending and Banking offerings.

Come join Intuit as part of the Ecosystem Services Finance team as a Finance Leader (internal title will be Lead Financial Analyst) supporting the Money and Workforce Solutions portfolios of services. The Finance Leader role will be responsible for a variety of financial activities across various segments including building and owning key financial models, performing research & analysis and reporting that aid in the tracking and delivery of our strategic and financial commitments.

What you'll bring

  • Undergrad in Finance, Accounting or Business Management or equivalent work experience. Masters in Finance a plus

  • 6 - 8 years FP&A experience or equivalent tenure from related positions in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or analytics

  • 4+ years of experience with financial forecasting or analytic modeling

  • Enjoy operating in an extremely fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Proven track record of translating business results into an insightful & consumable story for leadership teams, ideally in high-growth software / SaaS environments

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to partner with all levels of the organization, influence stakeholders using data and collaborate in an inclusive culture

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and financial modeling skills

  • Self-starter with a desire to quickly learn and excel; willing and able to initiate, manage, and execute projects with minimal supervision

  • Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Hyperion Essbase preferred

  • Experience with a banking or fintech business a plus

How you will lead

  • Build and own robust financial models for several core product offerings

  • Partner cross functionally for our 1 and 3-year strategic planning and forecast processes

  • Assist in monthly and quarterly close processes

  • Thoughtfully lay out dashboards and reporting to drive executive insights and decision making in support of our strategic and financial plans

  • Drive various analyses that deliver data driven insights in a structured manner to promote business outcomes that accelerate our growth trajectory

  • Build and own relationships; be a trusted advisor to cross functional partner teams leveraging data backed analysis and exhibiting strong business judgment.
