TheElectricianrole is responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining various electrical systems for mechanical contracting and service operations. Assisting other areas of our mechanical contracting team is required if electrical work is not available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:

• Plans, prepares, installs, and maintains all types of HVAC wiring and conduits; systems include pumps, chillers, RTU, S/S, boiler and lighting up fits
• Provide electrical instruction to helpers and assistants if needed
• Interpret and understand drawings related to assigned projects
• Maintain and attend training to update certification in electrical work and practices
• Provide support and act as a resource for customers
• Works independently the majority of the time
• Supervises jobs with Assistant Technicians, temps or helpers
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices
• Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company's mission and values
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends, as required
• Travel up to 75% of the time as required

WORK HOURS:Monday thru Thursday, overtime/weekends as required

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms and possible extreme weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment. The associate is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration. The associate is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Qualifications

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of electrical installation related experience and/or training
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Apple iOS software
• Proficiency with applicable tools and operational renderings
• Ability to pas drug screening
• Ability to prove US employment eligibility
• Must possess a valid driver's license
