The opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Support Officer who is poised to transition into a Project Manager role.

This position is based in Melbourne and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical projects within the Australian Defence Industry.

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Implement project management methodologies to assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects

  • Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and adherence to project timelines.

  • Contribute towards tender processes and Requests for Quotation (RFQs), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Manage and maintain critical documentation in accordance with requirements set by the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).

As the ideal candidate, you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Project Support Officer within Defence Industry

  • Working knowledge of the ASDEFCON suite

  • Demonstrable scheduling experience

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities

  • Valid AGSVA Baseline security clearance
