Amazon Change Manager EU Sort Center - Sustainability in London, United Kingdom

Operations is the beating heart of Amazon. This key part of our business makes sure we fulfill and dispatch orders efficiently so that our customers get their items on time. It’s driven by Operations Managers who bring the team together to push excellence in safety, quality and productivity across our sites and Central Teams with expertise in process improvements, sustainability, green transformation, technology, and analytics. This role is all about ensuring these teams work together in an optimal way prioritizing the topics that drive operational excellence to create the Amazon of tomorrow

Key job responsibilities

This role can be based in any EU Sort Center or one of the Corporate Hubs (London, Munich, Barcelona, Luxembourg).

  • build the Sustainability Roadmap for EU MMN and driving sustainability initiatives across the network.

  • liaise with the EU ATS Sustainability team to drive wide projects and act as single point of contact for all Sustainability related items for EU MMN.

  • drive connects with regional leaders and stakeholders to derive insights and actions.

  • standardize network wide best practices while balancing site specific needs through calls with country ambassadors.

  • deep dive and report on Sustainability metrics in reviews (WBR, MBR, QBR)

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree

  • Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management

  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English

  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions

  • Relevant experience in key areas of production and supply chains

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques

  • Experience in a similar logistical working environment

  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
