Job Overview:

To assist the Director of Finance in maintaining fiscal responsibility of the Operating and Capital Budgets of the Medical Center. Assist in the preparation and completion of the annual budget filing to Corporate and the monthly analysis reports issued to the departments. Assist in consolidating and analyzing financial data, considering the company's goals and financial standing.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Strong financial analytical skills, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.

Preferred:

• BA/BS Degree is preferred, not required.

• Experience in hospital accounting is preferred.

• Budgeting experience is preferred.

• Candidate should possess universal behavioral competency standards, such as Customer Service and Professionalism.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in running ad-hoc reports.

• Assists with Accounts Payable processes and troubleshooting.

• Assists Department Directors with financial analysis as needed.

• Audits petty cash funds.

• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; both internal and external.

• Maintains quarterly property tax payments and reporting to the county.

• Performs monthly expense analysis. Submits correcting journal entries as needed.

• This position will have responsibilities at both Monmouth Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.
