The Toxics Cleanup Program{rel="nofollow"} (TCP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an Operations Planner (Environmental Planner 5) *position. This position is located in our *Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.   Are you passionate about environmental stewardship and strategic planning? We're seeking an exceptional Operations Planner to join our team and lead the charge in driving forward the Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) to new heights.   In this dynamic role, you'll spearhead the development of strategic and operational program plans, ensuring that our efforts in environmental cleanup are both effective and efficient. You'll oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of performance metrics, providing crucial insights into the impact of our initiatives.   But that's not all -- as a key player in our team, you'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of partners including state and federal agencies, Tribes, local governments, and interest groups. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex policies, proposed legislation, and planning guidance, ensuring that our cleanup activities are aligned with the highest standards and regulations.   Additionally, you'll have the unique opportunity to supervise a dedicated team responsible for TCP's cultural resources initiatives. Overseeing archaeological and historic preservation efforts, you'll work closely with site managers across the state to uphold compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.
