• Conducts resident employment orientation on all new arrivals; instructs residents in the requirements and procedures of the employment program assistance.
• Refers residents to other agencies to enhance residents employ-ability and exposure to job openings in the community; maintains records of referrals in the residents permanent files.
• Coordinates efforts with other Counselors regarding program plans and assists residents in achieving program objectives.

[What we are looking for in you:]{arial=""}

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, or Rehabilitative Counseling, AND
• Three years experience performing counseling work in a correction/rehabilitative setting, OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
