We are looking for a commercially minded and technically inclined Sales Consultant to be part of our System and Software team in Diegem, Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity for you to grow your technical knowledge and develop your client and customer facing skills, working very closely with account managers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• To add new value for customers by advising on technical design and system architecture.

• To provide product and application information.

• Internal quote process handling and follow up with different departments of Emerson (prepare estimates, challenge proposal team, advise on technical solutions).

• Build and maintain relationships with other relevant partners within sales and product development.

• Perform in accordance with the relevant Emerson procedures like ethics and trade compliance.

Who You Are:

You are constantly gaining insight into customer needs, finding opportunities and delivering solutions & quotes together with the account managers that meet customer expectations. You learn quickly when faced with new situations and experiment in order to find new solutions. You are also someone who maintains a positive attitude despite adversity.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• 3 to 5 years of proven inside sales or relevant technical experience.

• experience with DeltaV.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level in related field.

• Proficiency in English and Dutch.

• Be able to assess set of information and comprehend missing information.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Previous experience working in a large, international organization.

• Proficiency in French or German.
