Financial Data Analyst

  DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  Our ideal Financial Data Analyst meets these qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience OR an equivalent amount of total experience

• 4+ years of financial data analysis experience

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

  Experience working with data arrays is a big plus, as is experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or JavaScript.

  In this data analysis position, you provide critical support to the STAR agency by developing effective strategies for modeling financial data. Your goal is to create models and formula constructs, including "if...then" analyses, to demonstrate different agency funding and spending scenarios. With great attention to detail, you analyze data sets and visualize this information through dashboards and other analytics. By attending meetings, compiling large amounts of data, accurately interpreting your findings, and implementing financial models, you help our client track their current and future spending and remain financially stable!
