The Software Engineer at American Specialty Health Inc. in Carmel, IN will collaborate with stakeholders to understand software requirements and create technical specifications and design documents. Write clean and efficient code in various programming languages and participate in code reviews to maintain quality and standards. Develop and execute test cases, perform unit and integration testing, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in the application code. Assist in the deployment of applications, and provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Position requires a

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 1 year of experience as a software developer or related occupation. Must also have 1 year of experience with each of the following: (1) computer programming in ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, SQL, and JavaScript; (2) frontend frameworks, including React.js; (3) web development programming in a client-server setup; (4) relational database design, writing queries, and stored procedures with MySQL or Microsoft SQL; (5) object oriented analysis and development within large enterprise level applications; (6) XSLT, XML, JSON; (7) HTTP, C#, and SQL optimization; (8) software design patterns; (9) designing and architecting complex enterprise level systems; (10) software development life cycles, including Agile or SCRUM; and (11) SOLID design principles.
