Quality Assurance Analyst/Specialist

Currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as aQuality Assurance Analyst/Specialistto join our Quality Assurance department in Carlsbad, NM.

The successful candidate will be required to qualify as a NQA-1 Lead Auditor and perform assessments. Will be responsible for developing checklists, assessment plans, and assessment reports based on upper tier requirements. Perform QA review of procedure and procurement documents for compliance with the applicable quality program requirements. Assist in the maintenance and development of the technical, administrative, and programmatic documents related to the implementation of a NQA-1/10CFR830 compliant program. Travel to lead and participate in assessments if needed. Write clear and organized reports and other documents that effectively communicate ideas, problems, solutions, and status of projects.

Exempt Salary Grade 28-34

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a science related field, or

• Associates Degree with four (4) years of professional experience, or

• High School Diploma or Equivalency with eight (8) years of professional experience.

Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.

Higher education attainment than listed acceptable per internal level identifiers of accompanying years of experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Must have strong interface skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.

• Strong oral and written communications, audit/surveillance skills including prior NQA-1 Lead Auditor Certification or American Society for Quality Certification is desired. skills is a plus.

• Software QA experience.

Minimum salary $67,817 per year-- Base salary will be increased upon candidate's background (i.e., education and experience)
