Google Software Test Engineer, System Test in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.

  • Experience with automation test cases.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience building automation stations for testing embedded devices with iOS and Android.

  • Experience with connectivity technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi.

  • Experience with hardware communication interfaces such as USB, UART, I2C, SPI.

  • Experience with Mobile App automation tools such as UI Automator or Appium.

  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for testing embedded hardware devices.

  • Own and drive Pixel, wearable and hearable testing and performance strategies for quality.

  • Own a technical area and deliver polished automation solutions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to come up with optimal and creative solutions.

  • Interface with counterparts, stakeholders and peers to drive team and test strategies.
