How will you make an impact?
We are looking for a passionate data analyst to join our dynamic Global Search Team in the Biosciences Division (BID), nested under the Life Sciences Group. This position will be located in Bangalore, India, and directly report to the Search Analyst Team Lead. Along with other analysts on the team, this role supports data-driven channel decisions with analysis, reporting, forecasts, and actionable recommendations.
The Data Analyst will work closely with the US-based Search Managers and be responsible for creating and maintaining custom dashboards to uncover optimization opportunities in support of the global Search efforts on behalf of BID. Additionally, this role will play a major role in the ongoing SEM budgeting and forecasting process (annual budgets exceed $15MM).

To be successful in this role, the candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, analytical, deadline-driven and comfortable working in a highly matrix environment in a global organization.
The ideal candidate has experience in building and automating reports and visualizing data in tools like Adobe Analytics or Power BI. Hands-on and enterprise-level expertise in digital channels like SEO or SEM is preferred.
What will you do?
Collaborate with team members to measure and report on Search initiatives implemented by the Global Search team
Handle and integrate large volumes of data from various sources and provide actionable insights
Track SEM spend and support SEM budget recommendations by delivering relevant data points to the SEM Managers
Collaborate closely with the Search Managers to create custom channel-specific dashboards that support gaining insight, uncovering optimization opportunities and making data-driven recommendations
Find a better way every day, leverage automation and focus on solutions that scale
Manage workflow and maintain tight deadlines of multiple, simultaneous projects, with prioritization guidance from the team lead
Provide project status updates to the supervisor and stakeholders to set expectations on timelines, accomplishments, and ask open questions and identify any risks
Stay informed with digital marketing industry best practices, trends and technologies
Share case studies and learnings and contribute new ideas to the Search data think tank
Participate in scrum ceremonies and follow agile principles as part of an agile team, using project management tools
Be available during off-hours to participate in meetings with team members based in the United States
How will you get here?
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience
Required
3+ years of experience in B2B customer-driven digital marketing or eCommerce
Advanced experience with analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Experience in budget forecasting for digital marketing channels for large annual budgets (>$15MM)
Strong Excel skills for bulk operations and process improvements
Preferred
2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI; familiarity with DAX functions is preferred
Experience with data warehouse or data hub solutions (e.g. Big Query, Funnel)
Experience with SQL
Form understanding of paid search (SEM) and organic Search (SEO) and knowledge of respective channel systems (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, Search Ads 360, Adobe Ad Cloud, STAT)
Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira)
