The University of Michigan's Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a Research Lab Specialistto support our research efforts.

Responsibilities*
This Research Lab Specialist will focus on conducting preclinical experiments aimed at advancing our understanding of tumor immunology, immunotherapy, and radiotherapy. The ideal candidate will perform in vitro and in vivo experiments that allow us to develop new therapeutic targets or approaches for the treatment of cancer. The candidate will assist in experimental design, project design, and laboratory oversight. Service will include coordination of active protocols and coordination with regulatory bodies, including the institutional review board as well as coordinating logistical needs.
Required Qualifications*
A Bachelor's in biomedical research,or related field.
1 - 3 years of experience of related experience
Desired Qualifications*
Experience with Cancer Biology, preferred.
Master's degree, preferred.
Additional Information
This position will report directly to Dr. Michael Green, Assistant Professor. Dr. Green's laboratory seeks to define and harness the determinants of inflammation which shape anti-tumoral immunity and influence cancer therapy efficacy.
Background Screening
